One 60-day cruise circling the Land Down Under is being halted following the death of an elderly lady who was left behind by the ship on a distant tropical isle.

The elderly woman had been hiking on the tropical location with shipmates from the cruise ship, but parted ways from the excursion for a pause. The ship sailed away leaving her and returned several hours later after the personnel discovered the woman was unaccounted for.

A major search operation located her remains the subsequent day.
